#Leopard #Ganjam #Odisha<br /><br />The leopard, which got stuck in a wild boar trap, died after being rescued by the Forest officials. The wild animal had gotten stuck in a trap laid to capture wild boars in Naguda-Manitara area under Buguda Forest Range of Ganjam district on Thursday (January 28). <br /><br />The forest officials then reached the area to rescue the trapped animal. But the animal broke the trap and escaped during the rescue operation triggering panic among locals. Then after several hours, the forest officials located the animal and rescued it.<br /><br />However, the leopard died inside the cage when it was being shifted by the Forest officials for its release into the wild.<br /><br />As per a Buguda Forest Range official, veterinarians examined the health of the rescued animal before releasing it.
